To meet growing demand from the market and taking advantage of the Partner Tepee’s excellent spaciousness, Peugeot’s family compact MPV completes its range with a new 7-seater version.

This new offer, which will appeal to a family clientele seeking an alternative to a compact MPV, stands out for its exceptional modular design. Indeed, the Partner Tepee is composed of 7 independent seats, as all the rear seats can be folded down and removed.

As a result, the interior of this compact MPV can be adjusted at will and at any time in order to meet its occupants’ requirements.

The 7-seater Partner Tepee exaggerates all the qualities of the compact MPV. It is a versatile and comfortable vehicle, with a spacious passenger area and is very well suited to families and to leisure activities.

7 INDEPENDENT AJUSTABLE SEATS
The spaciousness of the Partner Tepee has meant that 7 “proper” seats could be installed, arranged as follows:
- 2 independent seats in row 1
- 3 independent folding and removable seats in row 2
- 2 independent folding and removable seats in row 3
Particular attention has been paid to the seating position in row 3.

To ensure there is enough space for passengers’ knees, the seats in row 2 have been moved forward 90 mm and raised by 42 mm compared to the 5-seater version.

The rear floor has also been raised slightly, which gives the 3rd row occupants an excellent view thanks to the all-round panoramic effect.The seat backs in row 3 are angled so as to guarantee a good seating position and contribute to passenger comfort.

A PRACTICAL INTERIOR THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED ATWILL
The 7-seater Partner Tepee enhances the modular design and practicality of the compact MPV.

The seats in rows 2 and 3 can be folded down flat and removed independently of the others.

As the weight of the row 2 seats is only 14 kg and that of the row 3 seats 12 kg, it is possible to transform the interior of the vehicle at will and with minimum effort.

The last row of seats is reached by folding down the side seats in row 2.The wide opening afforded by the sliding side doors makes it easy for passengers to gain access to row 3.

Children, however, will no doubt prefer to get into the back through the boot, using the gap left between the two independent seats in the 3rd row!

The rear floor has been equipped with three additional storage areas, one of which cleverly accomodates the sliding luggage cover.These areas are in addition to the storage located at the 2nd row passengers’ feet and demonstrate the care taken with the design of the passenger compartment layout.

The row 2 passengers have aircraft-style tables and their seat backs are angle-adjustable.

Each occupant is thus comfortably installed, with a number of storage possibilities to make his or her journey more pleasant.

The boot storage volume in the 7-seater version is 100 litres under the luggage cover.This capacity rises to 470 litres when row 3 is folded down and 650 litres when the 3rd row is removed.

COMFORTABLE INSIDE AND COMFORTABLE ON THE ROAD
The lively behaviour, braking and comfort of the 7-seater Partner Tepee are all excellent thanks to the continued use of the Partner Tepee’s benchmark running gear and the use of springs and shock absorbers capable of supporting a heavier load than on the 5-seater version.

A lot of attention has been paid to acoustic comfort which is one of the car’s strengths.Thus, passengers in row 3 are able to communicate with the other occupants of the compact MPV with no problem, including those in row 1.

A WIDE, HIGH PERFORMANCE RANGE OF ENGINES
The 7-seater Partner Tepee is available with the following engine options, depending on the markets:

1.6 l petrol 16v 110 bhp
1.6 l HDi 90 bhp
1.6 l HDi 90 bhp FAP
1.6 l HDi 110 bhp FAP

All these engines are equipped with manual 5-speed gearboxes.As environmental protection is very important for Peugeot, the particle emissions filter (FAP) is available on the two Diesel versions.

The 1.6 l HDi engines represent the latest generation of Diesel engines designed by Peugeot.Their technical features, illustrated by second generation “common rail” high pressure direct injection and even equipped with a light alloy 16-valve cylinder head, provide a high standard of driving pleasure, while limiting CO2 emissions and reducing fuel consumption.

The 7-seater Partner Tepee will be available with Leisure and Outdoor equipment levels. Some features such as the Zenith roof and the interior roof rack are incompatible with this new version, since the 3rd row has been raised.

The vehicle will be on sale from February 2009, depending on the markets.
